This highly interactive three-day professional development training provides the Transformative theory and skills of conflict engagement by a third party (mediator). The theoretical premises of Transformative Mediation are based on a relational world-view of human competence and moral motivation that strongly inform the role of the mediator who works to support, not impose, interactional “shifts” for people in conflict. These shifts become the foundation for more respectful interaction, creative problem solving, and improved productivity. To facilitate the translation of the training concepts and skills into your specific workplace context, a follow up co-mediation session with the trainer is included (and strongly encouraged) upon your request. ***
