Remembering Joe Folger
Joe was a mentor, teacher, and friend to many in our community. He’s teaching and scholarly work shaped our work and impacted larger community. With the loss of Joe and Baruch this year, all of us at the ISCT are clear in our commit to carry the work forward with the curiosity, passion, and rigor they modeled for us. And we will continue to care for this approach they loved so dearly—not only with resources and planning, but with presence, tenderness, and long-term commitment. ![]() | Joe's Writing ![]() Joe most know work is likely his textbook Working Through Conflict: Strategies for Relationships, Groups and Organizations (with M.S. Poole and R.K. Stutman.) He also co-edited our recent book Transformative Conflict Resolution: Mediation, Dialogue, Coaching, which is available for download here In addition to his scholarly writing, he also wrote a novel, “Memoir of a Misfit Mediator” a fictional portrayal of the life of a mediator, finding his way both professionally and personally, available for purchase at our online store . Writing in Honor of Joe We are grateful for those that are honoring Joe by writing about him, his work, his life and his impact.
